Today Mr Simon and Antony paired up to read a book to the class. The book was called "It came from out space".Antony read the story in his native language (Chinese) and Simon (English).
They read the story to the class and then the class had to make up some questions that they would ask different characters in the story.
Children then had turns being that character in the hot seat and had to answer the questions asked as if they were that character in the story.
During reading today Rio worked with Antony and supported him with his reading by listening to him read and showing him what to do for his reading response.
