On Friday as part of our new unit of inquiry into how markets exist in order to fulfill the needs and wants of a community. We had the opportunity to visit different markets around town.We visited ;
- Art shops on street 178
- Lucky supermarket in Bassac Garden City
- Cane alley - cans shops on Sothearos Boulevard
- BKK1 market on St 380
The children really enjoyed the opportunity to visit these different places and notice what was happening at these venues and to wonder why.
The highlight was walking through the BKK1 market and seeing all the fresh produce and the vibrant colours.
Although some of it was extremely fresh.
