On Wednesday the class visited Kids City Science floors to learn more about our unit on Energy.It was great hands on experience with the children getting to experiment making energy.
They also got a chance to go into the "Dark room" where they used up a lot of their energy screaming.
They got the chance to do an experiment (Chemical energy) on burning a peanut and the oil it produces.
It showed them how the body has to digest fats and oils in our body. They also looked at heat energy and how heat rises and can be used to produce simple energy. Luckily for us no burnt fingers.We also talked about kinetic and potential energy.
